For the year 2007/08 and 2008/09 President Rick Mooney was presented the Community Service Award in recognition of his dedication to the community and the North Shore United Way while serving as the Beverly chairperson. The benefits of the North Shore United Way for agencies such as Beverly Bootstraps and Beverly Affordable Housing Coalition is pivotal. In 2008, the NSUW helped meet basic needs and provide critical care services for more than 11,000 of our Beverly neighbors.
