Sterling Insurance Agency offers full real estate services with two licensed realtors on staff. In June of 2017 Connor and Chris Mooney teamed up to form The Sterling Group, our new real estate division. In 2019, The Sterling Group officially became part of the J. Barrett & Company team.  We will deliver the same high quality customer service here that the community has come to expect from the Sterling family.

We are here for all of your buying, selling and rental needs. We also specialize in working with first-time home buyers to get them all the information they need to find the perfect first home! Chris Mooney

Chris graduated West Virginia University in 2013, Go Mountaineers! He immediately came back to Sterling to work in the family business. Chris is a licensed Realtor® and operates Sterling Realty alongside his brother, Connor. Chris and Connor have closed on transactions all along the North Shore, ranging from Boston all the way north to Haverhill. Chris operates on the buying and selling side, but specifically enjoys working with first time home buyers and has hosted seminars on the subject (ask about our free seminars!). Whether you’re planning for a couple years out, or you’re looking to move next month, Chris is happy to sit down with you and discuss the most logical options and strategies for a successful real estate transaction.

Connor Mooney

Connor Mooney graduated from University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2016. In addition to getting his Property/Casualty Insurance license in 2015, Connor has been a licensed Realtor® for The Sterling Group since 2017 and is a part of the J. Barrett & Co. team. He enjoys working with all clients, whether they’re families, couples looking to start a family, those wanting to downsize, first time home buyers, or just those looking for a change. Connor is always happy to grab a cup of coffee with someone looking to talk about buying or selling a home! Both Connor and Chris are members of the North Shore Association of Realtors and are actively involved in countless organizations around the community.
