Happy 11th Richard F. Mooney Day in the City of Beverly!

Happy Richard F. Mooney Day!

On March 27, 2014, at Dick Mooney’s retirement celebration, Mayor Mike Cahill declared March 27th as Richard F. Mooney Day in the City of Beverly in recognition of Dick’s exceptional service and deep-rooted commitment to the community. Dick’s journey with Sterling Insurance Agency began in 1974 when he was named Executive Vice President. He later took over ownership in 1983, leading the agency to new heights over the course of a distinguished 40-year career.

Beyond his professional success, Dick was truly beloved by all who knew him. He was known as a kind, generous, and approachable person who made a positive impact on everyone he met. His integrity, warmth, and dedication to helping others made him a cherished figure in Beverly. Dick’s leadership was as much about personal connection as it was about business acumen, and he touched the lives of countless individuals in the community.

Today, we celebrate not only Dick’s remarkable achievements but also the lasting influence he has had on both the business and the people of Beverly, who will forever remember him as a true friend and leader.
