Congratulations to Rick Mooney on winning the Greater Beverly Chamber of Commerce’s Business Person of the Year Award! Rick Mooney is the President of Sterling Insurance Agency and has been in that role since 2002. Rick has served on various community organizations and boards for the past three plus decades, building and growing the Sterling Insurance legacy.
The other nominees for the award were Andrew DeFranza – Harborlight Community Partners, Susan Weeks – Vesey & Weeks, and Mark Carlson – Children’s Center for Communication/Beverly School of the Deaf. Just to be mentioned in the same sentence as these other community leaders is a great honor, Rick is incredibly humbled (and slightly embarrassed) by winning this award. Congratulations to all the other winners and nominees! We’d also like to give a big thank you to Leslie Gould, executive director of the Chamber, for putting on such a wonderful event.
