Sterling Insurance is proud to announce that our very own Connor Mooney will be riding in the 2018 Pan Mass Challenge. The Pan Mass Challenge(PMC) is an annual bike-a-thon that runs through 46 towns across Massachusetts. The mission of the challenge is to raise money for life saving cancer research and treatment at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The PMC has been around since 1980 and by channeling 100% of every rider-raised dollar directly to the Jimmy Fund, it is the most successful fundraising event for charity in the nation. $51 million was raised for the cause last year, bringing the 38 year contribution to Dana-Farber to more than $598 million!
We couldn’t be more proud of Connor, who has already fundraised over his goal of $5000 for his ride across Massachusetts. He has been working extremely hard not only to raise money for this cause, but also to prepare himself physically for the challenge.
