Sterling is excited to announce that Connor Mooney will be riding for his third time in the 2020 Pan Mass Challenge in August. Connor is a proud supporter of the PMC, in just over two years, he has raised over $24,000 towards cancer research and treatment. He ended up raising $12,293 last year and is very determined to at least match that amount this year!
The majority of these donations come from the amazing customers here at Sterling Insurance Agency, who Connor can’t thank enough. This is a win-win for everyone, as anyone who donates $25 to the Pan-Mass Challenge receives a 5% discount on personal auto policies. To date, our customers have saved about $65,000 in auto insurance premium with this discount alone, while raising $24,000 towards cancer research and treatment. There’s many, but this has to be our favorite discount! In all seriousness, thank you to all the customers of Sterling Insurance who have donated, this is truly incredible, let’s keep it going!
The Pan Mass Challenge is an annual bike-a-thon with 12 routes ranging from 25 to 192 miles that accommodates to all levels of cycling strength and fundraising capacity. The Pan Mass Challenge raises money for life-saving cancer research and treatment at Dana- Farber Cancer Institute. Last year, the PMC donated $63 million to Dana-Farber, bringing the PMC’s 40 year fundraising total to $717 million; They announced a record-setting $65 million goal for its 2020 campaign.
