Sterling is very proud of Connor Mooney for participating in the Pan Mass Challenge for his third time. Over the past 3 years he has raised about $32,000 total.
The majority of these donations come from the amazing customers here at Sterling Insurance Agency, who Connor can’t thank enough. This is a win-win for everyone, as anyone who donates $25 to the Pan-Mass Challenge receives a 5% discount, or a $50 donation can result in a 6% discount on your personal auto insurance policies depending on what company you are with. To date, our customers have saved about $80,000 in insurance premium from this discount. Thank you to all the customers of Sterling Insurance who have donated, this is truly incredible!
The Pan Mass Challenge is an annual bike-a-thon with 12 routes ranging from 25 to 192 miles that accommodates to all levels of cycling strength and fundraising capacity. The Pan Mass Challenge raises money for life-saving cancer research and treatment at Dana- Farber Cancer Institute. 100% of rider-raised revenue goes directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s tireless commitment to finding a cure.
While this year was not the traditional PMC ride, earlier this month they had “PMC 2020 Reimagined.” Even though the riders were physically apart, whether they rode on the streets or indoors, they continued their bond by their commitment to fight cancer. Once again, PMC delivered on their mission to raise the funds to provide Dana-Farber with the resources to fight cancer. Although the race did not actually happen, PMC raised funds of $34,034,055! Thank you to all the riders, including one of own Connor, to make this event still happen and be an inspiration to us all during this crazy time.
